Location was good - out of the main hussle, but close enough to walk
Airconditioning not switched on until June, hot room, mosquitos in room
The service was consistently warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel reserved tickets for us for the museums and found out information about train/bus schedules, etc. -- always with a smile. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great location for seeing the sights in Florence. We did not find it noisy at all.
The opening to the shower stall does not open very wide, so a very large person may have trouble getting in to the shower.
location is great, staff is great, cost was great. If you have a car it will be pickup when you arrive and delivered to you whne you leave
breakfast was a little weak but there is pleanty of places to eat near by including a McDonalds right next door and you have may have trouble locating the entrance
The staff were very friendly and the room was quite comfortable. I had read other reviews which put some doubt in my mind before arriving but the hotel was actually really great. It is small - we had the room behind the reception so there were voices audible in the morning - but nothing to worry about. We didn't have any problems at all. No problem with the location - it is just a few hundred meters from the duomo. Strongly recommend.
Internet is expensive as others have said (4€ for an hour) but for a quick check of emails, etc without having to leave the hotel, it was ok. There are plenty of internet cafés around but probably better things to be doing in Florence than being on the internet anyway. Breakfast was a little limited some days (I think it pays to arrive early) but absolutely ok. Toast, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, cheese, meats and even fresh espresso coffee to order.
The location of the hotel was good and it had air conditioning.
The bathroom was very small.
Best thing first: the hotel has a fantastic atmosphere to it. Like an old monastery (rooms furnished accordingly simple - but adequate!) with a beautiful green courtyard. Really special. Breakfast was very good (many choices) and despite the size of the hotel (they have several conference rooms) it was not crowded or loud. Loved to relax there after a long day out in Pisa and/or surroundings. 10-15Min to the airport, ca. 5Min to the central station. Staff was helpful and nice.
No complaints. But one should be aware, that the hotel is about 20min walk from downtown Pisa. We liked it for it.
In the action spot.
To small and smelly washrooms!
The hotel was near all the city's attractions. You could reach Duomo in 5 mnutes' walk. The room was clean, spacious and it had a view to the city's main road. It was an excellent choice!
Very nice service, good central location, well-designed art rooms.
unfortunately we didn't like almost anything but the morning coffee.
The room that we asked to was different from what we asked, although we sent writtten specification for our needs. no one find the time to let us know before we come that we are not going to have two different bad at the room. in order to give us what we want they asked for almost double cost, and only after we show them that it was written on our order, and therefore we will more to another hotel, they offered another room for no extra payment. we wanted to reduce the staying from 7 days to 4, and they insist to get paymnet for all the 7 days, although the policy on the conformation was that the penalty supposed to be only one night extra, only after the involving of the bookin team they agreed to get the penulty for one night instead of..
The location of the hotel and the valet car parking
The website of the hotel gave a higher image of quality than was the reality.
Friendly staff, reasonably good breakfast.
Had to book a 4 person room for 3 of us, double bed plus bunks, cramped, small shower with broken door runners, was not worth the cost.
Very close to the historic center of Florence.
Hotel was rather cramped, in both the public and private spaces. No parking available (the hotel has an arrangement with a distant parking lot which must be called to deliver your car and they are rather costly). But the location makes up for these shortcomings.
The hotel was not near the station like the advert stated,we had to take a taxi which was costly to get there. The worst part is that it is situated on the second floor with other hotels ,the sign was not very visible to notice on the road. The old narrow lift hardly takes 2 people .The rooms are tiny too and the sofa was old and uncomfortable. The breakfats room is also terribly narrow and there was no buffet but a simple bread ,butter ,jam and croissants! the receptionist served the coffee while she answered her reception phone.Had to ask for milk ,butter and bread too as it was no replenished accordingly for the guests. They also drew a partial amount for the room as i booked in January. When questioned they said they had to have a guarantee
Staff were most welcoming...they went out of their way to help where needed. The first night we arrived, we'd searched for what felt like hours to find this street. The clerk felt our frustration and handed each of us a glass of red wine. The room also had a bottle of San Benedetto chilled for us along with some cookies. Very sweet!
The walk up to the third floor is dismal and completely uninviting. The street is very busy with tourists which means a lot of street noise unless you close the windows.
